Hmm, some country in South America would likely be a good place for that 'Eurocan nation' you have in mind. They're already pretty mixed up there, although, of course, the remaining Natives' cultures should be respected also.
I know.. But I was thinking more New Orleans. It has a rich Eurocan history and it’s in the USA.
But for now, it is bitter sweet because I am going to live in Germany for at least 2 years. So I can’t start my community there. I am going to double major in history and German. I’ll most likely move back to America, I don’t want to live in Germany forever! When I move back I’ll probably move to Louisiana and teach German. I know French is well spoken in New Orleans, so I’ll try to learn French too. If an Eurocan community ever does exist I want people to be multi-lingual and maybe over time we can have our own Creole language, which is common in Creole/mixed-race nations. Since most Eurocan-Americans are West African and West European I think it’s best to stick with those cultures, don’t you think?
